Job summary

IMC Logistics in Collierville, TN seeks Foundational Platforms Manager to lead strategic vision and operations of our container platforms and critical software assets. You will oversee Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, and related tooling, drive platform reliability, and supervise Tier II incident escalation and lifecycle management.

As a member of the leadership team, you will manage budgets, recruit and develop IT staff, collaborate with business units, and ensure secure, scalable technology

Qualifications

• 5+ years of qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business, or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience across complex projects.
• Proven track record of organizing and leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Extensive knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience with security, disaster recovery, and incident management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to executive partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and maintain foundational technology platforms aligned with senior leadership.
• Provide platform administration for application servers, messaging, and container platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Lead Tier II incident escalation and coordinate cross-functional troubleshooting.
• Define technology and business strategies with senior management through KPI insights.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and documentation complies with development processes.
• Coach and develop IT staff, plan budgets, and drive continuous improvement.
