Job summary

Apple Inc. seeks a senior AIML Research Scientist in Seattle to advance fundamental research on foundation models for scientific domains and collaborate with partner teams across Apple. You will plan, run, and publish experiments, translate findings into product directions, and contribute to papers for publication.

You will join a small team to define projects, develop methods, run experiments, and analyze results, with opportunities to engage in cross-team collaboration and publication.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant hard science with strong ML foundation.
• At least 3 publications in top ML/AI venues.
• Deep knowledge of foundation models and applications.
• Experience designing experiments to study foundation models.
• Knowledge of Bayesian statistics for scientific inference.

Responsibilities
