Job summary

Snack Innovations, Inc. is seeking a foundational Controller to build and lead a world-class accounting function. You will own the ledger, close, and controls, while shaping SOPs and an ERP implementation. This role requires coaching a small team and partnering with CFO on systems decisions.

You will influence inventory costing, TPM, and reporting for investor-grade financials, with strong GAAP knowledge and CPC background.

Qualifications

• 8+ years accounting experience; at least 2 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role
• Direct people leadership experience across accounting staff
• CPG, food & beverage, or consumer products background preferred
• Experience building accounting infrastructure in early-stage environments
• Experience evaluating AP/payment automation tools and partnering with CFO

Responsibilities

• Design and implement chart of accounts and maintain the general ledger
• Lead AP/AR operations and manage staff development
• Oversee ERP implementation and integrate related systems
• Establish internal controls and prepare for external audits
• Develop SOPs and scalable financial processes
• Produce GAAP-compliant monthly financial statements and reports
