Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Foundation Total Station Operator to support home construction in the Omaha area.

You will operate Total Station equipment to layout basements and foundations, ensuring precise measurements from foundation plans and coordinating with CAD and field teams. Required: high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years field survey experience, knowledge of TST (Leica/Trimble), valid driver's license and ability to travel; ability to lift up to 50 lb; optional AutoCAD/Revit

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of related field survey experience.
• CDL may be required per DOT guidelines.
• Knowledge of Total Stations (Leica or Trimble).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of field surveying work.
• Survey and layout basements and foundations from foundation plans.
• Establish and set points on stakeout projects.
• Record measurements of horizontal and vertical control points.
• Upload TST data to/from computer.
• Maintain and operate the instrument.
• Coordinate with CAD operators and subcontractors.
• Assist foreman with other tasks.
