Qualifications

• Minimum of two years construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Excavate around the foundation.
• Install helical piers, carbon fiber, bracing systems, and braces.
• Oversee daily construction activities.

Job description

BDry Alabama has an immediate opening for an experienced Foundation Repair Specialist.

Essential Functions & Industry Knowledge:

• Exterior excavation around foundation
• Installation of helical piers and tie-backs
• Installation of carbon fiber and bracketing system
• Installation of steel wall braces and H-braces
• Installation of crawlspace stabilizer/supports
• Oversee the daily construction activities of the work site and responsible for the overall progress of the project.
• An understanding of torque and monitoring equipment
• Understanding or knowledge of reading plans/blueprints and engineering reports
• Knowledge of foundation lifting
• Construction experience, preferably a minimum of two years
• Waterproofing and encapsulation experience is preferred

Requirements:

• High school diploma (preferred)
• Possess a valid Drivers’s License and with strong driving record
• Experience using power tools and equipment
• Communicate well with customers
• Must have reliable transportation to the office daily
