Job summary

The Foundation Development Director at Benedictine Living Community-Crookston is responsible for securing funds to meet annual goals across Benedictine communities. Working with the Support Center and leadership, you will develop and implement fundraising strategies and deepen donor relationships to secure major gifts that advance the mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or related field.
• Three years of experience in fundraising, development, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience in major gift solicitation.
• Experience with volunteer boards.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational, time-management and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email and internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Secures philanthropic funds to meet/exceed annual goals.
• Manages a portfolio of 75+ major gift donors; reports progress.
• Partners with leaders to engage donors; documents visits/interactions.
• Oversees donor data confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Promotes Benedictine mission and core values daily.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
