Job summary

Helen Ross McNabb Center seeks a Foundation Grants Manager to lead the Foundation's nonpublic grant-development program and manage the complete grant lifecycle across East Tennessee, nationally, and beyond where appropriate.

You will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward grants, working with Foundation leadership and Center staff to secure funding and strengthen long-term relationships. This role focuses on delivering high-quality proposals and accurate budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience considered.
• Exceptional writing, research, analytical, and financial skills.
• Strong knowledge of private, corporate, and community foundation practices and grant terminology.
• Ability to develop, interpret, and manage complex grant budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a nonpublic grant pipeline.
• Prepare and submit high-quality grant proposals and budgets.
• Maintain grant records, reports, and renewals.
• Coordinate with Foundation leadership and Center staff to meet deadlines.
• Pursue opportunities aligned with Foundation priorities.
