Bauer Foundation Corp. in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The role focuses on preparing accurate estimates for lump sum and time-and-material contracts, reviewing bid specs and drawings, and collaborating with clients to refine proposals for competitive bids.

You will interact with subcontractors and suppliers, develop cost summaries, and input data into estimating software. Occasional travel to Atlanta for pre-bid meetings and site visits is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 2–3 years' experience in deep foundations or heavy civil works.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Foster relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Review bid specifications and drawings to ensure complete understanding of project requirements.
• Develop and review subcontractor scopes of work; analyze quotes for best value.
• Prepare project bid status reports and ensure compliance with contracts and invitations.
• Present cost estimates and input data into estimating software.
