Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking a Fostering Social Worker for a locum contract in Manchester. You will conduct fostering and Form F assessments, foster carer reviews, and connected persons assessments, supporting carers and safeguarding children to promote placement stability.

The role is hybrid with 2-3 days in the office, offering £37.00 per hour for an initial 3-month contract with a view to extension, and requires 3 years post-qualification experience within a Local Authority.

Qualifications

• 3 years' post-qualified experience within a Local Authority.
• Previous experience in fostering services, Form F assessments, foster carer recruitment, supervision and support is essential.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, fostering regulations, connected persons assessments and care planning is highly desirable.
• Experience working with children in care, birth families and multidisciplinary teams will be beneficial.
