Job summary

StepStone Family & Youth Services seeks a Case Manager to enhance patient management, promote cost effectiveness, and oversee the case management cycle. You will recruit foster families, manage documentation, and coordinate with the treatment team to ensure placement stability.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in recruiting, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive, organized approach. Travel to affiliate sites and community events is expected as part of recruitment activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• 3–5 years of full cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment; sales/insurance recruitment a plus.
• Knowledge of various recruiting strategies, including social media.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage in recruitment and awareness activities to recruit foster parents.
• Develop and implement proactive recruitment plans and maintain candidate pipelines.
• Respond to foster parent inquiries by phone within 24 hours.
• Develop strategies for general, targeted and child-specific recruitment and marketing.
• Follow agency and state licensing requirements and ensure compliance.
• Complete certification processes with foster parents and document requirements.
• Conduct parent interviews, background checks, and home inspections for suitability.
• Maintain foster parent files in compliance with regulations.
• Assist in placement and matching of youth with foster families.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality; comply with laws and policies.
• Attend meetings with referral sources and community providers.
• Support the treatment team to ensure placement stability and needs are met.
• Observe signs of abuse/neglect to ensure safety of youth.
• Travel to affiliate locations and recruitment events as needed.
• Contribute to Corrective Action Plans with program supervision.
• Provide services respectful of family and youth cultural backgrounds.
