Job summary

StepStone Family & Youth Services in Kentucky is seeking an Agency Trainer Foster Parent Licensing to lead required training for prospective resource families and staff.

You will coordinate workshops, ensure documentation, and deliver engaging trainings on adult education, curriculum design, and group facilitation. This is a full-time role with flexibility for night trainings and evolving training delivery.

Qualifications

• Complete required trainings such as Foster Parent College, Deciding Together, CPR/First Aid, and related modules before service delivery.
• Bachelor degree in social or behavioral sciences preferred.
• Level 1 fingerprint card.
• Maintain a clear record with the Department of Child Safety Central Registry.
• Available for training times and able to maintain business hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform agency training on a flexible schedule, including night training.
• Collect documentation for each resource family after training sessions.
• Coordinate and deliver workshops throughout the year to meet annual training hours.
• Assess applicants’ training participation and mastery of materials.
• Provide ongoing training and educational opportunities to resource families and staff.
