StepStone Family & Youth Services in Kentucky seeks an Agency Trainer for Foster Parent Licensing. You will conduct agency training across multiple Louisville, Richmond, and other KY locations, including night sessions, ensuring participants complete required paperwork and reach mastery of materials.

You will develop workshops, assess applicants, and provide ongoing training to resource families and staff, coordinating yearly training hours and staying current with child welfare guidelines.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in social or behavioral sciences preferred.
• Complete required training modules (Foster Parent College, Deciding Together, CPR/First Aid, etc.).
• Maintain a clear record through Department of Child Safety Central Registry of any reports of child abuse and neglect.
• Be available for training times and adaptable to schedule changes.
• Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the capacity to learn other applications.
• Knowledge of adult education principles including learning styles and curricula design.
• Knowledge of group dynamics and effective communication with groups.
• Knowledge of child welfare law and division policies.
• Curriculum development expertise with new content.
• Skilled in engaging training delivery and answering questions.

Responsabilidades

• This position performs all applicable Agency training on a variable and flexible schedule which includes night training.
• You must be on-time with all required paperwork-related tasks and gather and provide documentation on each individual resource family at the completion of each training session.
• Coordinate and provide specialized workshop training throughout the year, as required.
• Assesses applicants for their training participation and mastery of materials instructed; for developmental, adoptive or child/adult foster homes concisely and effectively throughout their training process.
• Provides ongoing training and educational opportunities to resource families and staff, plans and executes periodic training for families to meet yearly on-going training hours.
