Job summary

SAFY of America in Cincinnati is seeking a Full-Time Foster Home Worker who is passionate about helping children, supporting foster families, and strengthening communities.

You will document case notes, complete Environmental Audits, conduct Foster Parent evaluations, and assist with licensing and training to maintain safe, compliant foster homes.

We offer a robust benefits package and a targeted hiring range of $44,000 to $47,000 plus bonuses and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, child & family studies, or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience with the degree and experience in child welfare.
• Valid driver license and ability to meet travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete case notes documenting monthly contacts for assigned foster homes.
• Complete Environmental Audits (OH) for foster homes without placements.
• Conduct Foster Parent evaluations annually with Case Manager.
• Complete annual paperwork and manage dissemination and collection of documents for foster homes.
• Prepare Home Studies or Amendments and collect required paperwork.
• May complete licensing related Rules Investigations and track Foster Parents training hours.
• Assist with ITNA, foster parent trainings, and use of systems for licensing processes.
• Attend Growth & Development Meetings and provide trainings to applicants/foster parents.
