The incumbent will manage paperwork, coordinate services for children, and maintain records. Strong organizational, trauma-informed, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human behavioral science or related field.
• Knowledge of child welfare system, licensing and juvenile court procedures.
• Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills; able to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, orient, train and license foster parents and coordinate all training events.
• Develop aggressive recruiting plan for licensing.
• Train foster parents in skill areas and conduct monthly trainings for licensing.
• Conduct annual recruitment/retention meetings with foster parents.
• Engage in public speaking for recruitment through various channels.
• Maintain foster parent records and MISACWIS entries.
• Coordinate placement preparation and client intake into foster homes.
• Complete mandated reporting (e.g., 3200s) as required.
• Ensure compliance with licensing standards and accurate file updates.
