Job summary

Family Support Services of Suncoast seeks a Licensing & Family Engagement Liaison in Largo to represent the Licensing Department at MDTs and case discussions. You will provide caregiver insights and licensing considerations to promote safety, stability, and permanency for children.

You will also facilitate icebreaker meetings, support shared parenting, and help strengthen communication among caregivers, families, and professionals to improve outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited college.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in child welfare or related field.
• Valid driver’s license; Florida Child Welfare Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend MDTs and staffing as Licensing Department representative.
• Provide information on caregiver strengths, dynamics, and supports.
• Share caregiver perspectives to aid informed decisions.
• Collaborate with Case Management, CPI, Kinship, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate icebreaker meetings between foster and birth parents.
