Job summary

Family Support Services (FSS) in Largo, FL, seeks a Licensing and Family Engagement Liaison to represent the Licensing Department at MDTs and case discussions, providing caregiver perspectives and licensing insights to promote safety and permanency.

You will facilitate foster parent and birth parent icebreakers, support shared parenting, and help connect families with needed supports while documenting outcomes for the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in human services, behavioral health, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in child welfare, foster care, or related human services.
• Valid driver’s license; Child Welfare Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend MDTs, placement staffings, and other case meetings as Licensing Dept representative.
• Provide information on caregiver strengths, household dynamics, and supports.
• Share caregiver perspectives to support informed decision-making.
• Facilitate icebreaker meetings between foster and birth parents to promote collaboration.
