Job summary

Rise Family is seeking a Family Specialist to support foster/adoptive families and developmental homes in Mesa, AZ. The role focuses on licensing, case management, and coordinating with DCS/DDD to ensure compliant, compassionate care.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Social Services; bilingual Spanish is a plus. Travel to meet families, attend court hearings, and provide training may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field of Humans Services or Social Services.
• Experience with social services and behavioral science including the ability to relate to families of varied lifestyles, backgrounds, and ethnicities.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid Arizona driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage a family caseload of 15-20.
• Foster Parents Training Instructor Rotation.
• Attend monthly consultations with families including court hearings and meetings.
• Act as a liaison with DCS/DDD and participate in emergencies rotation.
• Advocate and educate families; provide community resources and support.
• Meet scheduling needs including possible evenings or weekends.
• Provide orientation programs with language accommodations.
• Assist with licensing processes and home studies; document consistently.
