Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program seeks a full-time Foster Care Social Worker (LSW) in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on community-based and in-home services for youth and families, with supervision by the Clinical Supervisor.

You will provide advocacy, case management, and mental health services to help children live safely in the community. The position offers generous PTO, holidays, health benefits, parental leave, CEUs, student loan repayment, and 401K with matching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
• Valid LSW license as required by state law/regulatory bodies.
• Willingness to work flexible/non-traditional hours.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and communities.

Responsibilities

• Provides case management, transportation, and professional services to youth and families.
• Delivers individual, group, and family mental health services.
• Travels daily to deliver community-based and in-home services.
• Coordinates and monitors clinical services (mental health, medical, educational, vocational, social).
• Reviews and updates youth plans to ensure progress toward goals.
• Builds strong relationships with foster parents and families of origin.
• Supports reunification or alternative permanency planning.
• Provides safety/crisis response and behavioral stabilization as needed.
• Meets productivity thresholds and completes documentation and training.
