Job summary

Progressive Life Center, Inc. (PLC) in Philadelphia provides foster care services and family supports. The Program involves intake, licensing, case management, and 24/7 on-call coverage for resource families and clients.

The role requires degrees in human services, strong written and verbal communication, and experience with MS Office and case databases. Hybrid work becomes available after 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in a human service field from an accredited institution.
• 4–7 years progressive experience with children, youth and families.
• Experience in human services best practices & training; data entry proficiency.
• Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders; strong communication.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; valid driver’s license; travel across region.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, advocacy, resources and program referrals.
• Mentor team and assist Program Director with client placement and licensing.
• Maintain a caseload of 13–16 foster care/resource home cases.
• Complete intake assessments for new participants and families.
• Provide on-call coverage monthly and report emergencies or after-hours calls.
• Develop service plans, progress reports and follow-up documentation.
• Ensure licensing documents are filed and updated in licensed files.
