Job summary

Monroe Harding in Nashville is seeking a Full-Time Resource Specialist to advocate for children in foster care, coordinating with foster families, schools, therapists, courts, and community providers. You will build relationships, navigate crises, and ensure services help children heal and thrive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related human services field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of child welfare, trauma-informed care, and family systems.
• Valid Tennessee Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for children through assessments, treatment planning, home visits, and crisis support.
• Support foster families through coaching, consultation, and annual home re-approvals.
• Coordinate care with schools, therapists, birth families, DCS, courts, and community partners.
• Maintain timely documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in Child & Family Team meetings and ongoing professional development.
