Heartland for Children is seeking a dedicated professional to recruit, engage, and support prospective foster families through community outreach and resource development. You will build relationships, plan events, and guide families through licensing and placement processes.

This is a professional position responsible for recruiting, engaging and supporting prospective foster family through community outreach, relationship building and guiding families with event planning and resource development.
Establish and maintain positive working relationship with HFC customers
Plan and coordinate recruitment activities in the community
Attend community events as needed to represent the agency with flexibility of working nights and weekends
Work with community partners in recruitment efforts
Perform administrative and data entry duties related to community outreach
Recruit prospective foster families
Coordinate with the foster home licensing team on other recruiting/retention efforts
Provide ongoing support of resources and referrals
Perform special projects as assigned
High school diploma required. Associate's degree in human services or related field preferred. Two years of experience working with children and families is preferred.
Drug free workplace. Drug testing required. EOE/M/F/D/V.
