Spectrum Child & Family Services is seeking a Licensing Specialist for Foster Care in Southfield, MI. The role involves recruiting, licensing, supervising, and training foster homes, with occasional evenings and weekends routed around need.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• One year of experience working with families preferred.
• Child Welfare Training Institute completion highly desired.
• Knowledge of strength-based family work and wraparound process.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, license, supervise, and train foster family homes for youth in out-of-home placement.
• Work a non-traditional schedule including evenings and weekends when necessary.
• Transport foster children using own vehicle when required.
• Respond to family crises to maintain safety and stability.
• Coordinate collateral services per Michigan DCWL requirements and service standards.
