Job summary

National Youth Advocate Programs is seeking a part-time Foster Care Licensing Coordinator to join our FL NYAP team. The candidate must have current FL Licensing certification and can work up to 20 hours per week, with hours varying and may include evenings or weekends in Pasco/Pinellas counties.

The position focuses on recruiting, licensing, and retaining quality foster homes, ensuring they meet organizational needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field from an accredited institution.
• Current FL Licensing certification.
• 2 years of work experience in direct service with youth and families preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies that generate inquiries for licensed foster homes.
• Support foster parents and youth by providing training, information, and ongoing support.
• Complete home studies and necessary licensing documentation for prospective families.
• Maintain foster home records in appropriate systems and conduct annual evaluations and recertifications.
