Job summary

National Youth Advocate Programs (NYAP) is seeking a part-time Foster Care Licensing Coordinator to recruit, license, and support foster homes in the Tampa area. The role involves completing home studies, staying compliant with regulations, and coordinating with the Regional Manager.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, a current Florida licensing certification, and a valid driver’s license. Up to 20 hours per week with possible evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
• Candidate must have current FL Licensing certification.
• 2 years of work experience in direct service with youth and families preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, license, and retain quality foster homes.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies for licensed foster homes.
• Complete face-to-face meetings with potential families and assist in licensing.
• Maintain foster home records and complete home studies for approval.
• Travel to provide community-based services and support licensed foster homes.
