Job summary

Florida Department of Children and Families seeks a Licensing Specialist to oversee foster care licensure, compliance and quality assurance across assigned counties. The role emphasizes safety, permanence and well-being of children, with regulatory responsibilities under Florida Administrative Code.

You will conduct on-site visits, review files, process licensure packets, and collaborate with CBCs to address licensing concerns.

• Collaborate with CBCs to review licensing complaints and incidents.
• Provide training and guidance on licensing standards and procedures.
