MercyFirst, a not-for-profit human and social service agency, seeks an Office Assistant to support Enhanced Family Foster Care. You will assist casework staff, conduct home visits, and perform office tasks, documenting contacts and maintaining records to help foster parents, birth parents, and children in care. Based in Brooklyn/Queens area, hybrid schedule.

Location: Ozone Park, NY. Salary range: $36,000-$40,000 per year with a $1,000 hiring incentive after 500 hours. Full-time, hybrid.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or associate degree required.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Outlook; basic Excel knowledge.
• Ability to file accurately and track case information.
• Willingness to engage with clients and support DEIB initiatives.

• Conduct home visits per mandates and assist staff.
• Document all contacts in appropriate systems on time.
• Answer phones and respond to client requests for information.
• Data entry into multiple computer systems and maintain reports.
• Support foster parents, birth parents and children in care.
