Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related mental health field from an accredited university.
• Two years foster care experience strongly preferred.
• LBSW strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to maintain effective working relationships, inter-departmentally, intra-departmentally, and with the clinical staff.
• Must have ability to communicate in both oral and written form and in a clean and concise manner.
• Must have a successful drug screen and background check (includes criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check).

Responsibilities

• The Foster Care Case Manager acts as leader of the treatment team.
• Initiates the development of treatment plans; provides support and consultation to foster parents, families, and other team members.
• Coordinates and links children and their families with needed agency and/or community services.
