Job summary

The Oglethorpe Power Corporation seeks an analyst to perform a broad scope of fossil plant budget and operations performance analyses for OPC co-owned facilities. You will work with OPC and operating agent accounting teams on O&M and A&G variance reporting, budgeting, and monthly/year-end projections, including invoicing and issue resolution.

Responsibilities include tracking capital additions, maintaining performance data, and supporting regulatory compliance (FERC, EPA, OSHA).

Qualifications

• Minimum HS Diploma and Technical school (desirable) with proven strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Operational Advisories and maintain plant performance data.
• Coordinate with accounting for O&M and capital budget analyses and reporting.
• Track budget variances and document variance analyses for management review.
• Maintain regulatory compliance information and logs for FERC, EPA, OSHA.
• Support long-range financial forecasting with data and scenario analysis.
• Travel to in-plant areas as needed to document performance and safety issues.
