Leadership Expectations
- Own client AI outcomes end-to-end, from the first AI discovery session through a pilot evaluation to a successful agentic development rollout
- Work alongside clients across every stage of their transformation, and measure success by sustained agentic adoption and tangible delivery impact
- Act as the trusted technical adviser to client CTOs, engineering leaders and platform teams on how to move from AI-assisted to agent-driven delivery
- Build and develop the ADLC playbooks and use cases that push the frontier of what is possible with agentic workflows and the outcomes they can deliver, including solutions that can be deployed across your market and the wider region
- Mentor and raise the capability of Robosoft's wider FDE and engineering community
What You Will Do
Drive agentic adoption on the ground
- Work side by side with client teams to demonstrate the art of the possible with agentic development
- Run pilot engagements (typically one month) with client engineering teams, then convert them into ADLC transformation programs
- Lead AI discovery and whiteboarding sessions that meet each client where they are on their AI journey and map a clear path to agentic transformation
- Partner with SpaceXAI Go-to-Market teams on joint accounts, providing the technical pre-sales depth that turns initial interest into engagements
Develop the agentic lifecycle
- Push the frontier of what an agentic development lifecycle can look like through AGENTS.md, skills, sub-agents, hooks and rules
- Design synchronous (in-IDE) and asynchronous (cloud agent) workflows, including automations that offload routine engineering work such as triage, test generation and dependency upgrades
- Integrate agents with enterprise systems through MCP servers and SDKs for an end-to-end and connected development lifecycle
- Extend agentic workflows beyond the engineering phase into requirements, product, design, QA and project management, closing the loop of the development lifecycle
Establish trust, governance and value with agentic development
- Implement AI-driven code review, security validation and compliance controls that give client engineering and risk teams confidence to scale
- Run structured evaluations comparing models, tools and approaches, and optimise model selection by task complexity and cost
- Define and report adoption and productivity metrics that prove value to client leadership and support expansion decisions
Build Robosoft's capability and brand
- Produce leading content and demos on agentic development, reference implementations and case studies from engagements
- Represent Robosoft at client workshops, partner events and regional developer communities
- Feed learnings back into Robosoft's own internal ADLC so that we continue to lead by example
Who You Are
- Agentic engineer first, consultant by instinct: You are credible with developers and with leadership alike. You communicate effectively and build trusted relationships, from hands-on work with engineering teams to guiding executives and the wider organisation through agentic transformation.
- Pushing the frontier of what's possible: You already build with an agentic development lifecycle day to day, and you can speak from experience about what works, what doesn't and why.
- Outcome-driven: You measure the success of your work by the impact and value you help client teams deliver.
- Entrepreneurial: You have an entrepreneurial instinct to scale from zero to one and can create structure in a new market without an established playbook, larger team or supporting structure around you.
- Commercially aware: You understand how pilots convert to contracts, and you know when to position technical results into the commercial impact it can have.
What You Bring
Required Experience
- 8-12 years in software engineering, with 2-5 years in client-facing technical roles such as forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, developer relations or technical consulting
- 1-3 years of hands-on use of agentic development tools (Cursor is preferred) as your primary way of working, ideally in a team or enterprise setting rather than only personal projects
- A demonstrated track record of leading technical adoption or transformation programmes inside enterprise engineering organizations
- Experience running proof-of-concept or evaluation engagements that converted into production adoption or commercial contracts
Technical Skills
- Deep hands-on expertise with Cursor as a primary development platform, including agent modes, cloud agents, rules and configuration
- Agent scaffolding and orchestration: rules, AGENTS.md, skills, sub-agents, hooks and background or cloud agents
- MCP server development and integration, and use of agent SDKs
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in at least two modern stacks (e.g. TypeScript/Node, Python, Java, Go, mobile)
- Git-based workflows, CI/CD and automated testing, and how agents fit into each
- AI-assisted code review, security scanning and governance practices for AI-generated code
- LLM fundamentals: model selection and routing, context management, prompt design and cost/performance trade-offs
- Enterprise administration of AI developer tools, including SSO, usage controls, spend management and data policies (good to have)
- Experience with other agentic development tools, which is useful for comparative evaluations (good to have)
- Exposure to Media & Entertainment, Travel & Tourism, Wealth Management or Mobility/Automotive engineering environments (good to have)
Additional Skills
- Excellent workshop facilitation, technical storytelling and executive communication
- Ability to write clear technical content, playbooks and documentation
