Palantir Technologies is looking for Forward Deployed Software Engineer Interns in Washington, D.C. The interns will work closely with customers to tackle significant challenges using data, developing impactful solutions. You will engage in small teams, owning high-stakes projects from conception to execution.
Applicants should have programming proficiency, a clear interest in data-driven problems, and plan to graduate in Winter 2027 or Spring 2028. An engineering background and active Full Scope Poly clearance are required.

Forward Deployed Software Engineer Interns (FDSE Interns) work directly with customers to quickly understand their biggest problems and design and implement solutions powered by data. Projects often start with an open-ended question such as "How do we evaluate wildfire risk and optimize a power grid?" or "How do we quickly assess our food supply chain and deliver life-saving assistance on time?" As an intern you will apply problem solving, creativity, and technical skills to help organizations use data to drive real impact.
The salary range for this position is estimated to be $10,000 per month. Total compensation will be determined by individual qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors. This estimate excludes benefits and potential long-term incentives.
