Job summary

Narmi is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to work closely with financial institution customers, solving novel technical challenges and building features within our platform. You will collaborate with the Platform team, success, implementations, product, and engineering to deliver impact in the field.

The role emphasizes hands-on implementation, rapid prototyping, and scalable automation, with in-person work three days a week at our NYC office and flexibility to work remotely when needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of post-college professional experience.
• Strong engineering background in computer science, mathematics, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and React.
• Ability to craft creative solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Excellent ability to explain concepts clearly to engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Solve novel technical challenges with financial institution customers and design implementations within Narmi's platform.
• Contribute to platform development alongside the platform engineering pod.
• Identify gaps from customer interactions and extend APIs to meet client needs.
• Develop quick v0 solutions and then re-architect for scale over time.
• Automate recurring FI workflows and build scalable tools addressing root causes.
