This backend-leaning role combines software development with system integration, troubleshooting customer environments, and rapid capability adoptions to meet mission needs.

Qualifications

• Backend software engineering experience required.
• Strong skills in Python or Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native development.
• Experience debugging distributed systems and production issues.
• Comfortable interfacing with customers in dynamic environments.
• Willingness to travel 25–50%.
• Ability to obtain TS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python, Go, and cloud-native tech.
• Deploy, integrate, and troubleshoot software in secure customer environments.
• Build APIs and distributed systems using GraphQL, REST, gRPC, and event-driven patterns.
• Design and support Kubernetes-based deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Collaborate with operators, mission teams, and stakeholders to solve issues.
