Job summary

Staffworx is hiring two Forward Deployed Engineers to ship end to end and own problems from the first customer conversation through to a deployed solution. You will work across the full stack: LLM pipelines, data architecture and user-facing product.

Remote (US), or hybrid (2 to 3 days per week) in New York. 2–5 years' experience; healthcare domain experience not required. TN visa accepted and H-1B transfer acceptable. Salary range $200,000–$240,000 base, plus competitive equity.

Responsibilities

• Build AI agents that collect, verify and structure a growing model of the health IT landscape.
• Develop modelling software that turns complex ROI analysis into clear outputs.
• Full-stack development across backend services, data pipelines and user-facing UIs.
• Work with pilot customers to decide what to build and read between the lines of requests vs. strategic needs.
• Decompose ambiguous problems and reason about design trade-offs.

A venture-backed, scaling health-technology company is building the intelligence platform that helps health systems make smarter technology-investment decisions. Small, fast, well-funded and integrity-led, with live pilots already running.

They are hiring two Forward Deployed Engineers to ship end to end and own problems from the first customer conversation through to a deployed solution.

Health systems spend around $100 billion a year on health IT, yet most buying decisions are still made ad hoc, with little data behind them. Our client is changing that, with a proprietary structured model of the entire health IT landscape that powers tools to compare investments and turn complex ROI analysis into clear, defensible outputs.

You will work across the full stack: LLM pipelines, data architecture and user-facing product.

• Build AI agents that collect, verify and structure a growing model of the health IT landscape
• Develop modelling software that turns complex ROI analysis into clear outputs
• Build internal tooling that makes a team of analysts dramatically faster
• Work directly with pilot customers to decide what is worth building, reading between the lines of what they ask for versus what is strategically right
• Raw intelligence, high agency and a high ramp. Velocity and judgement matter more than years
• Critical: hands-on experience with data pipelining and LLMs
• Full-stack development across backend services, data pipelines and user-facing UIs
• Systems thinking: decompose ambiguous problems and reason clearly about design trade-offs
• A track record of high performance, ideally at a high-growth start-up. Founder backgrounds welcome
• 2 to 5 years' experience is the sweet spot, though exceptional candidates with less will be considered. Healthcare domain experience not required
