Job summary

Vannevar is hiring a forward-deployed Mission Lead to embed directly with government customers in Tampa. This is an on-site role four days per week, requiring you to work closely with users and understand their mission problems, then apply Vannevar’s products to solve them.

You will operate on military bases, configure workflows, test releases, and troubleshoot issues with engineering and product teams to maximize field impact.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to maintain access.
• On-site in Tampa four days a week.
• Ability to work in high-stakes, operational environments.
• Strong ownership and independent work ethic.
• Curiosity about agentic AI and configuring workflows.

Responsibilities

• Embed with users on-site in Tampa daily.
• Build trust by understanding problems and solving them.
• Turn ambiguity into testable mission workflows.
• Configure product workflows for high-value use cases.
• Test and troubleshoot releases on government systems.
• Generate mission wins and document impact.
• Develop additional user groups on-site.
• Operate independently while coordinating with teams.
• Represent Vannevar to Tampa users and customers.
