Job summary

Koch Business Solutions, LP is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to collaborate with Koch Capabilities Finance. You will translate ambiguous finance problems into AI-enabled software, leading end-to-end delivery from discovery to deployed solutions, partnering with finance leaders, SMEs, end users and technology teams.

You will design and deploy solutions using Python, TS/JS, C#, and APIs, balancing speed, security, and reliability while creating measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Translating ambiguous business problems into software, automation or AI-enabled solutions.
• Experience working with stakeholders and end users to discover requirements and validate outcomes.
• Knowledge of building applications using Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, C# or similar.

Responsibilities

• Work with finance teams to understand decisions, data, controls, and outcomes.
• Identify how AI, automation, data, and software can improve end-to-end workflows.
• Design, code, test, and deploy working solutions with emphasis on speed, security and maintainability.
• Establish success measures, observe adoption, and iterate based on results.
• Create documentation, tests, monitoring, and reusable components; partner on long-term paths for solutions.
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, security, compliance, and risk.
• Develop reusable patterns and tools; share learnings with partners.
