Job summary

Encord is seeking an exceptional Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our product engineering team. You will own the end-to-end deployment of the Encord platform for our most strategic customers, building data integrations and guiding onboarding to ensure rapid value delivery.

You will demo the product, share best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale the Forward Deployed function. 3–8 years in a client-facing or solutions engineering role is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years in a technical, client-facing or solutions engineering role.
• Experience building or working with data integrations and APIs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and take ownership without being told what to do.
• Prior experience at a high-growth startup is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end deployment of the Encord platform for our most strategic customers.
• Build data integrations and technical solutions to support customer onboarding and adoption.
• Guide customers with best practices, run demos, and host workshops.
• Communicate project plans and progress to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and commercial teams to feed customer insights back into the roadmap.
• Help define and scale the Forward Deployed function as an early team member.
