About The Role

What You'll Be Doing

• Engage with customer teams to understand and frame technical requirements for photonic device and circuit design workflows.
• Develop high‑impact software prototypes and AI‑assisted workflows for modeling, simulation, and optimization.
• Collaborate with internal teams to convert field learnings into scalable platform capabilities.
• Serve as a technical bridge between customer needs and product capabilities, ensuring rigorous and solution‑driven approaches.

What We're Looking For

• MSc or PhD in a relevant science or engineering field.
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, applied AI, or solution engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with modern AI tools.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with customers or stakeholders.
• A collaborative and solution‑focused attitude.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agentic AI solutions and modern frameworks like LangChain or Ray.
• Familiarity with EDA environments and hardware‑software co‑design.
