Job summary

SkillStorm is recruiting software developers to become Forward Deployed Engineers. You’ll receive six weeks of paid AI engineering training and certification, then deploy to federal and Fortune 100 clients in the DC region. No AI experience required—just solid software fundamentals and a drive to learn.

Earn $95,000 to $120,000 in your first year, with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k). U.S.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one of: Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/Node.js.
• REST API development or consumption experience.
• SQL and relational databases (Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server).
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy agentic AI applications inside the client’s cloud environment.
• Own delivery of a client-facing capability end to end from framing to deployment and handoff.
• Work embedded with client engineers inside their environment and tooling.
