Job summary

Bot Jobs is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join an early deployment team bringing AI agent systems into large enterprise environments. You will work across engineering, product, and customer teams to turn complex business needs into practical platform solutions.

The role involves owning deployments from planning to scaling, working with financial services and other industries, building AI workflows, and collaborating on roadmap and staffing. On-site in SF or NY with up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field.

About the Role

Join an early deployment team bringing AI agent systems into large enterprise environments. You will work across engineering, product, and customer teams to turn complex business needs into practical platform solutions and help shape how deployments scale.

What You'll Do

• Own enterprise customer deployments from initial planning through implementation and ongoing scaling.
• Work directly with customers in financial services, semiconductors, and other industries to understand workflows and design agentic solutions.
• Build custom AI workflows, data integrations, and agent systems suited to customer needs.
• Share insights from deployments with product teams to inform platform improvements and the product roadmap.
• Collaborate with company leadership and fellow deployment engineers on deployment strategy, staffing, and team growth.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience, ideally within the 2 to 6 year range, in forward deployed engineering, AI implementation, or applied AI.
• Hands-on experience building or deploying AI agent systems and agentic workflows, beyond standalone chatbots.
• A degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field, with strong technical fundamentals.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, LLMs, agent frameworks, APIs, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and enterprise integrations.
• Background deploying AI in enterprise settings, particularly in financial services or other complex industries.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco or New York and travel up to 50%.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $160,000 to $220,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California. Candidates based in New York may also be considered.
