Job summary

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll provide critical technical support, participate in deployment, and contribute innovative ideas while staying abreast of healthcare technology trends and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Foundational knowledge of full-stack engineering principles and system design.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, React, and SQL; experience building 0-1 products; strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 35% of the time to client sites for on-site builds and demos.
• Assist in the implementation and integration of solutions at client settings.
• Provide technical assistance during deployment and integration phases.
• Work with healthcare clients to understand tech needs, compliance requirements, and patient care goals.
• Support development and engineering teams in crafting tailored healthcare solutions.
• Identify and address technical challenges during project implementation.

About The Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Commure, you'll play a crucial role in collaborating directly with healthcare clients, understanding their needs, and actively participating in the design and implementation of customized solutions. This immersive experience offers you the chance to be at the heart of healthcare technology, contributing to projects that enhance patient access, affordability, and care quality.

What You’ll Do

• Be willing to travel up to 35% of the time to client site, build on site, and demo.
• Participate in the implementation process, aiding in the integration of our solutions into client settings.
• Provide technical assistance and contribute to problem-solving during deployment and integration phases.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare clients to understand their technology needs, compliance requirements, and patient care goals.
• Support our development and engineering teams in crafting tailored solutions for the healthcare industry.
• Help identify and address technical challenges encountered during project implementation.
• Assist in creating and updating technical documentation to streamline client onboarding and system maintenance.

What You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1+ years of professional experience in software engineering or a similar role
• Foundational knowledge of full-stack engineering principles and system design.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Javascript, React, and SQL.
• Experience building 0-1 products
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
• Eagerness to collaborate and ability to engage confidently with clients.
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, client-focused healthcare environment.

Compensation Range: $130K - $190K
