Job summary

Commure is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to collaborate directly with healthcare clients, designing and implementing customized solutions that improve patient access, affordability, and care quality.

You will provide technical support, tackle challenges, and contribute to documentation while staying current with healthcare technology trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Foundational knowledge of full-stack engineering and system design.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, React, and SQL.
• Experience building 0-1 products.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Client-facing experience and ability to work with healthcare clients.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Travel up to 35% to client sites, on-site deployment and demos.
• Participate in the implementation process and integration with client settings.
• Provide technical assistance during deployment and integration phases.

About The Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Commure, you'll play a crucial role in collaborating directly with healthcare clients, understanding their needs, and actively participating in the design and implementation of customized solutions. What You’ll Do

• Be willing to travel up to 35% of the time to client site, build on site, and demo.
• Participate in the implementation process, aiding in the integration of our solutions into client settings.
• Provide technical assistance and contribute to problem-solving during deployment and integration phases.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare clients to understand their technology needs, compliance requirements, and patient care goals.
• Support our development and engineering teams in crafting tailored solutions for the healthcare industry.
• Help identify and address technical challenges encountered during project implementation.
• Assist in creating and updating technical documentation to streamline client onboarding and system maintenance.
• Keep informed about the latest trends in healthcare technology and regulations to help propose relevant solutions.

What You Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1+ years of professional experience in software engineering or a similar role
• Foundational knowledge of full-stack engineering principles and system design.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Javascript, React, and SQL.
• Experience building 0-1 products
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
• Eagerness to collaborate and ability to engage confidently with clients.
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, client-focused healthcare environment.

Compensation Range: $130K - $190K
