Job summary

Quovy builds an AI operating layer for specialty insurance—submission intake, underwriting, quote & bind, claims, and servicing—deployed into live carrier and MGA operations. Forward Deployed Engineers embed with carriers and MGAs, learn underwriters' workflows, and design workflows that make Quovy indispensable, feeding insights back to the core product.

Responsibilities include embedding with carriers, shipping end-to-end integrations, tuning AI pipelines with experts, owning deployment

Qualifications

• Proficiency with AI-assisted coding (Claude Code, Codex, etc.).
• 3+ years of professional software engineering, full-stack capable.
• Strong TypeScript and full-stack web development skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship customer-facing agents and integrations end to end.

Quovy builds an AI operating layer for specialty insurance — submission intake, underwriting, quote & bind, claims, and servicing — deployed into live carrier and MGA operations.

Forward Deployed Engineers are the bridge between our product and the customer's reality. You embed with carriers and MGAs, learn how their underwriters actually work, and build and ship the workflows that make Quovy indispensable — then feed what you learn back into the core product.

Responsibilities

• 01 Embed directly with carriers and MGAs to understand their workflows, data, and decisions in depth.
• 02 Design, build, and ship customer-facing agents and integrations end to end, from first prototype to production.
• 03 Configure and tune AI pipelines against real submissions, with domain experts in the loop.
• 04 Own the technical relationship during deployment — unblock customers, debug in production, and earn their trust.
• 05 Translate recurring customer needs into durable product requirements for the core engineering team.

Requirements

• 01 Proficiency with AI-assisted coding (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, etc.).
• 02 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, comfortable across the stack.
• 03 Strong TypeScript and full-stack web development skills, with sound software development practices.
• 04 A track record of shipping in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and owning outcomes end to end.
• 05 Excellent communication — you can sit with a non-technical underwriter and a senior engineer in the same hour.
• 06 Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Nice to have

• 01 Experience integrating LLMs, RAG, or other AI models into production systems.
• 02 Prior forward-deployed, solutions-engineering, or customer-facing engineering experience.
• 03 Familiarity with insurance, underwriting, or other regulated enterprise workflows.
