Job summary

LaSalle Network is seeking a Forward Deployed Data Engineer to architect and deliver enterprise‑grade data and AI solutions. You will build AI agents, design data pipelines, and collaborate with product and executive stakeholders to drive innovation at scale.

The role requires 6+ years of data engineering, Python expertise, and experience with LangChain/LangGraph, ETL/ELT and cloud platforms. Hybrid work model with Chicago, IL as the location.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software or data engineering experience.
• End-to-end data platforms and cloud architectures experience.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience building AI agents using LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, NoSQL and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Strong communication with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Experience delivering solutions in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver enterprise‑grade data and AI solutions from concept through deployment.

• Design data pipelines, APIs and backend services supporting business‑critical applications.
• Develop LLM, RAG and AI‑powered workflows that improve decision‑making.

• Mentor engineers and champion engineering best practices.
• Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies to drive innovation.
