Job summary

Dyania Health is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to be the technical face of Synapsis AI across client deployments. You will own data models, integrations, pipelines, and workflows inside healthcare system firewalls, partnering with Clinical Innovations and Business Development teams.

As an IC, you will translate client needs into engineering tasks, support deployment and ongoing operation, and drive reliable, secure processing of clinical projects in a fast-paced, founder-led environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or a related technical field.
• +5 years of software engineering experience with Python or similar.
• +2 years in customer-facing roles.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores; schema design and tuning.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and production services.
• Hands-on with event-driven or workflow architectures.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to operate in fast-moving, founder-led environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison to the client through deployment.
• Prepare deployment timelines and coordinate releases.
• Collaborate on cybersecurity reviews and client sign-off.
• Capture client requirements and drive engineering feature development.
• Own data mapping and integration work for deployments.
• Analyze data environments and define SQL mappings.
• Build and tune ETL pipelines for clinical projects.
• Support clinical and business teams with reporting needs.
• Monitor system health and propose improvements.
• Communicate with clients at an operational level and translate needs to Engineering.
