Job summary

Arize AI is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to work directly with client engineering teams, delivering production-grade GenAI observability and evaluation programs. This client-facing role combines deep AI expertise with business acumen, operating within a remote-first setup while aligned to the San Francisco Bay Area time zone.

You will design, implement, and scale solutions, lead discussions with stakeholders, and build integrations that extend the Arize platform to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software development with Python, Java, and TypeScript.
• Experience building MLOps pipelines and GenAI applications in production.
• Familiarity with public clouds and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with enterprise AI teams to design, implement, and scale production-grade GenAI observability and evaluation programs.
• Lead technical discussions with customer stakeholders from engineers to executives, translating business priorities into scalable technical solutions.
• Build custom integrations, tooling, and workflows that extend the Arize platform for customer-specific needs.
• Manage multiple concurrent customer engagements, driving projects from scoping through delivery with high technical execution and customer experience.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, CS, Product, and Engineering to shape implementation strategy and expand customer impact.
• Help define and scale best practices, playbooks, and delivery methodologies for the Forward Deployed Engineering team.
