Job summary

Golden Analytics in Bellevue, WA seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer who thrives at the intersection of data, platform architecture, and customer success. You’ll own technical evaluations, run proofs of concept with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and dbt, translating complex data needs into practical analytics solutions.

You’ll deploy with enterprise customers, model real data, build analyses, and drive adoption of Golden in their analytics workflow.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in solutions engineering or similar roles with ownership of evaluations or deployments.
• Fluency with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) and the modern data stack (dbt, semantic layers).
• Strong SQL and understanding of how analytics gets built, governed, and deployed in real organizations.
• Visible instinct to teach and share, with a public-facing presence.
• Comfort with ambiguity and building new functions from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own technical evaluations, including product demos and POC execution against customer data.
• Deploy Golden with enterprise customers inside their environments and drive adoption of the analytics workflow.
• Shape product direction by identifying deployment frictions and proposing improvements.
• Contribute to the data community via talks, blogs, and tutorials.
