Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a FortiGate Network Specialist II / Network Administrator II for a 100% on-site role in Shelbyville, TN. The candidate will manage FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitches, and FortiAPs, maintain policies, and administer SSL VPN and IPSec tunnels.

Required hands-on FortiGate experience, strong networking knowledge, and willingness to work on-site in Tennessee. Local candidates preferred with the ability to respond after hours to critical issues.

Qualifications

• Hands-on FortiGate firewall administration (non-negotiable)
• Experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting SSL VPN and site-to-site IPSec tunnels
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, and network security
• Experience troubleshooting outages, VPN connectivity issues, and degraded performance
• Familiarity with Windows environments and Active Directory
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Farmington Hills, MI

Responsibilities

• Manage FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitches, and FortiAPs
• Maintain firewall policies, NAT rules, and network segmentation
• Administer SSL VPN and IPSec tunnels
• Monitor WAN connectivity and network performance
• Manage dual ISP connections and failover
• Support Cisco switching and UniFi wireless bridges
• Troubleshoot outages and conduct root cause analysis
• Coordinate firmware updates and security maintenance
• Support network and systems infrastructure projects
• Maintain network diagrams and documentation
• Coordinate with vendors and ISPs
• Document support activities in the ticketing system
• Participate in critical incident response as needed
