Fort Worth Business Team Leader - Water/Wastewater

Position Overview

Garver is seeking an experienced water industry professional to build and lead our Fort Worth Water Services Team. The successful candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit, a desire to grow Garver's water business in Texas, and experience managing water and wastewater projects through all phases of delivery. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing engineering consulting firm in Texas and the Southwest/Southeast US markets, developing and leading diverse projects, maintaining client relationships, and mentoring team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business development activities, including client engagement and relationship building.
• Develop a business and financial plan for the Fort Worth Water Services market.
• Collaborate with proposal teams to pursue revenue-generating projects.
• Hire and oversee Project Managers to execute the business plan.
• Manage project delivery, focusing on risk management and profitability.
• Serve as a technical leader and advisor on water and wastewater projects.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability and desire to develop new clients and grow the water business line.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil, biological, or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in the water sector, including 3 years in project/team leadership.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas.
• Experience in designing water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of multi-disciplinary practices involved in water infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
