Job summary

Perc Engineering Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Automation Engineering & Systems Integration Manager based in Fort Worth, TX to grow and maintain the automation department in our Fort Worth office.

This full-time, hands-on role combines client, project, and personnel management to deliver complex automation solutions. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in industrial automation, preferably Oil & Gas, and can lead high-level and detailed control system design while mentoring team

Qualifications

Minimum 10+ years of experience in industrial automation design and/or programming.
Strong experience with PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
Experience developing HMI and/or SCADA applications.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to lead and manage complex scopes of work.
Strong ability to read and interpret P&IDs and related engineering documentation.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must pass background check and pre-employment drug testing.
Willing and able to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage large scopes of work and department operations.
Act as Senior/Principal Engineer for clients and project manager within PERC.
Develop and deliver technical and commercial proposals.
Recruit, interview, and hire new engineers and designers.
Mentor and develop department staff.
Identify and pursue sales opportunities with current and new clients.
Provide complex controls solutions to clients using P&ID documents and narratives.
