Job summary

FITT Scientific, LLC seeks a Project Manager with a strong Army maintenance background to lead installation logistics services at Fort Stewart. You will oversee maintenance, supply, and transportation operations, acting as principal onsite contractor representative and translating workload planning into ready equipment and accountable contract performance.

The role requires coordinating with Army units, government customers, and internal teams, including staffing, training, and certification

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading Army or comparable DoD equipment maintenance operations with personnel, production control, and equipment readiness.
• Experience managing a substantial workforce through supervisors or leads with accountability for staffing, workload, and performance.
• Knowledge of AR 750-1, DA PAM 750-1, DA PAM 750-8, TAMMS, and related maintenance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily contract execution through managers and supervisors; coordinate contractor personnel and resolve issues.
• Direct field and sustainment maintenance of equipment; oversee PMCS, inspections, repairs, and parts.
• Manage maintenance priorities, work orders, labor, parts availability, and equipment status.
• Integrate maintenance with supply and transportation so movement aligns with customer priorities.
• Interface with Contracting Officer, COR, LRC, and supported organizations; provide status and corrective actions.
• Oversee recruiting, staffing, training, licenses, and certifications; ensure contractor supervision direction.
• Manage labor charging, funding visibility, cost forecasts, and contract scope changes.
• Lead transition planning, inventories, and surge readiness within contract timelines.
• Ensure safety, environmental, security, and property accountability; coordinate with quality offices.
